Empowering Young Changemakers: Infusing Sustainability into Elementary Classrooms with ClickView

 In this interactive session, we’ll explore how elementary students can build an early understanding of sustainability and feel empowered to make a real difference in their communities. Using engaging ClickView videos and a simple, high-impact persuasive writing activity, you’ll leave with practical ideas and ready-to-use resources to bring the global goals of sustainability into your classroom. Together, we’ll help students become thoughtful stewards of our world—one classroom project at a time.

Working for Change About Green Jobs

Working for Change highlights NYS Climate Act and the emission reduction goals, and the jobs that will be created in clean energy sectors to reach these goals. We highlight a solar installer, HVAC and Wind Turbine Technician careers and their career pathways.

Our Advocacy workshop talks about what makes a campaign and coalition building specifically a success and motivates youth to get involved in policy change now. Our Junior Clean Power fellow talks about how she founded the Long Beach Green Schools Campaign with the goal of transitioning Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD)–the 4th largest school district in California–off of fossil fuels. And how she won!
