I have a passion for Project Based Learning/ Challenge Based Learning and for giving students the opportunity to have a voice and choice in the learning process. I strongly believe that students are more engaged when they can make decisions about their learning.
One of the greatest joys in my life is working with the students from the Davis Student Tech Team! It is awesome to witness the creativity, innovation and imagination that occurs when they work on their projects
What excites me most about being a Verizon School is that it supports much of the work our students are doing at Davis MS; students collaborating with each other and working on Real World Issues that affect their communities. Students feel empowered when they can help change their community
